Campaign Design
Safe Space was a team based final project in an upper-division campaign design class at the University of California, Davis centered around a social issue. My team and I came up with Safe Space: a campaign that tackled awareness and assistance for transgender youth homelessness. The Safe Space brand was built around modern graphics and typography and focused on outreach and resources, both media and physical, with a budget plan and campaign timeline. I spearheaded the design and research of advertisement and marketing materials, which included the design of merchandise provided to trans youth in need. Our research also needed to be presented in a study of a real editorial that would fit with our campaign subject matter. My editorial study is inspired by Posture Magazine (now called Posture Media), a queer-led media group that writes LGBTQ focused pieces, known for their bold coloured and experimental layout design.
